About Ruth J Clark

Ruth has been working with others and providing assistance and care from a young age. The last 10 years of her 20 years at the University of British Columbia, Ruth worked in the two Offices on Campus dedicated to providing services to the Students, Faculty and Staff on Campus that had Disabilities. in 1998 she resigned from the University to return to her home town of Kamloops, B.C., to provide 24/7 live-in care for her mother. This subsequently lead to 3 other in-home care giving positions. After experiencing the tools and devices available to Students at the University, Ruth found it frustrating that there are so few opportunities for front line Medical Personnel to actually get first hand experience with many of these tools and devices. Even more frustrating is the lack of quality, professional, stylish AND functional clothing for Individuals with disabilities. Fashion Moves Inclusive Designs was born and we are pleased to invite you to join us at the 1st Annual Providing Prestige Health Care Conference, this Fall (October 9 - 10, 2012).
